Since 1988 we at Q3 Art have creating unique items in anodized aluminum . We are influenced by the deco era , cubism and pure inspiration of the beauty of color. We create innovative mobiles, jewelry, clocks, and more in hand dyed anodized aluminum. Our color palette is over 35 hues, from striking brights to subtle earth tones we'’ve got you colored! All our aluminum components are made in our studio prior to anodizing. They are cut, textured, fabricated, and tumble polished. The parts are then anodized which is an electrolytic process in which the surface oxides into a tough porous sponge, creating a perfect medium to accept dye. We then hand dye all our pieces and seal the color in by boiling. After this is complete with great care each piece is hand built. Our mobiles are the perfect gift for babies, children and adults. Our light weight earrings are made with niobium wires or titanium posts perfect for sensitive ears!
